This idyllic farmhouse with carved massive hipped roof and bell center stands in the forest under tall fir trees. Carved fir branches entwine under its roof. On the right side we see the farmer and his horse with a sledge fetching the felled logs from the forest. On the left side are two more beautiful horses in the pasture. The wooden cabinet, stained in walnut, has mullioned windows with heart shutters and has balconies.
The wooden cuckoo calls the number of hours on the hour (e.g. 3 times at 3:00 pm) and once on the half hour. After the cuckoo call, one of the two melodies sounds every hour. In addition, the couples in Black Forest costumes dance on the balcony and the water wheel starts to move. This model has a manual night shut-off. The dial, numerals and hands are also made of wood. The mechanical rake striking mechanism runs for 8 days. The cuckoo clock comes in its original box with instructions and VDS certificate.
The traditional Black Forest clock is manufactured by the company Hekas in Schonach, which was already founded in 1938 by Helmut Kammerer and stands for "tradition in perfection" in the 3rd generation.
