This original cuckoo clock from the Black Forest with its hand-carved and painted owls, birds and oak leaves is the eye-catcher! The pair of owls is enthroned above the cuckoo. To the side of the dial, a small eagle owl and a bird watch over the two little chicks in the nest. The wooden case is traditionally stained in walnut. 
The cuckoo, made of wood and painted, calls the number of hours on the hour (e.g. 3 times at 3 p.m.) and once on the half hour. After that, one of two melodies sounds (in hourly alternation).
This model has an automatic night shut-off. Dial, numerals and hands are also made of wood. The mechanical rake striking mechanism runs for one week. 
This original Black Forest cuckoo clock is manufactured by the company Hönes in Titisee, which is deeply rooted in the centuries-old tradition of clockmaking and stands for Black Forest craftsmanship.
