The wood-heated ceramic ovens in the living area of the Black Forest home produce a comfortable warmth. The firewood necessary to fuel this heating system is often chopped by the farmers or residents of the homes, in the garden behind their home. The huge tree logs are chopped into smaller pieces. This is the scene depicted on this Black Forest House Cuckoo Clock with VDS-certificate. Completely made of solid wood, the main house is made up of natural wood color. Many lovingly crafted details adorn the clock, including little miniature lattice windows with curtains, colorful shutters and flower beds, a filigree designed balcony, carved pine trees and woodpile. A stone wall on the bottom of the housefront is depicted with darker wood, completing the picture on this beautiful decoration for your home. The cuckoo calls on both the hour and the half-hour, and the woodchopper chops to the call of the cuckoo.

The Cuckoo Clock has a manual night-switch-off. Clockface, Numbers, and Hands are all made of wood. The mechanical clock movement runs for 8 days. The clock is delivered in an original box with complete instructions and VDS-certificate.  This special clock is crafted by the Hekas company in Schonach, a family business that was founded in 1938 by Helmut Kammerer, and in the 3rd generation still stands for its original motto:  "Tradition with perfection".
