This clock is especially attractive due to the natural burnt stain of the wooden house. Woodchopper Lorenz has almost finished his work, his wood basket is already filled. The wooden bench is waiting for him after having finished the work. There is a fawn next to the merrily clattering water wheel, on the right side you can see a deer. Green fir trees and balconies on the right and left are further details of this clock. The shingles of the hipped roof and the house fronts are flamed, so that the clock looks very precious. On the balcony a group of dancers turns to the music.

The cuckoo opens the door at the hour, tweets and calls out the number of the hour with an echo. Afterwards one of the 12 alternating melodies are played. On the side you will find a switch to turn off the music separately, or both the cuckoo and the music. Through a light sensor the clock is automatically quiet after dark, although the clock keeps running. This clock is run by a quartz battery clockwork requiring three 1,5V batteries - Size C. The clock comes in an original box with complete instructions and is produced by the Black Forest company Engstler, a family-run business that has been well-known for generations both for its tradition and technical excellence.
