The pretty Black Forest house with its red shingled roof and a bell tower shows a couple in love dressed in Black Forest costume. The young boy plays a melody on the accordion for his girlfriend. Two deer are lying in the grass next to a water well. The housefront in a half-timbered style is richly decorated. Under the hipped roof the door opens between two windows and at the full hour the cuckoo tweets and calls out the number of the hour with an echo. Afterwards one of the 12 alternating melodies plays. On the side you will find a switch to turn off the music separately, or both the cuckoo and the music. Through a light sensor the clock is automatically quiet after dark, although the clock keeps running.

This clock is run by a quartz battery clockwork that uses three 1,5V batteries - Size C. The clock is delivered in an original box with complete instructions. This cuckoo clock is crafted by the Trenkle company in Simonswald, a family business that has been around for the last 50 years, and prides itself in combining the traditional handcrafting with new technical developments.
