Lorenz is hiking on the way from Triberg to Titisee together with his dachshund Waldi. The path over the Black Forest heights is arduous and he is looking forward to the lunch break in front of this beautiful Black Forest farm. There is a cow next to the water wheel, fir trees and a ladder wagon are further details. Under the hipped roof with dark shingles, a children's dance group turns to the music, the water wheel turns, and the hiker moves his walking stick. The facade of the house is particularly elaborate. Above the light-dark half-timbered house there is a brown wooden veranda decorated with edelweiss flowers. At the full hour the door between the pretty windows opens and the cuckoo tweets and calls out the number of the hour with an echo. Afterwards one of the 12 alternating melodies plays. On the side you will find a switch to turn off the music separately, or both the cuckoo and the music. Through a light sensor the clock is automatically quiet after dark, although the clock keeps running.

This clock is run by a quartz battery clockwork that uses three 1,5V batteries - Size C. The clock is delivered in an original box with complete instructions. This cuckoo clock is crafted by the Trenkle company in Simonswald, a family business that has been around for the last 50 years, and prides itself in combining the traditional handcrafting with new technical developments.
