This Black Forest house is framed by romantic carvings on the roof and has carved beams with hearts under the roof. Round arched windows with red heart shutters adorn the facade as well as a stone-look wall. A fountain splashes in front of the house and a cow grazes next to it. A wanderer boy comes around the corner with his handcart and whistles a happy wandering song. The clock and the pendulum are decorated with edelweiss flowers. The cuckoo opens the door on the hour, chirps and calls out the number of hours with an echo. Then one of the 12 different melodies sounds. On the side is a switch to turn off the music separately or together with the cuckoo. A light sensor automatically turns off the sound in the dark, but the time continues to run. This clock is powered by a quartz movement that requires three 1.5V size C batteries (included).  This cuckoo clock comes in its original box with instructions. This beer drinker model is made by the Trenkle company, a family business in Simonswald that has been in business for half a century and whose trademark is to combine proven craftsmanship with the latest technology.
