Product info

In the beer garden, two men in traditional Bavarian costume sit comfortably in the shade of a fir tree and toast each other. On the right the waitress hurries up with full beer mugs. A beautifully decorated maypole, a Saint Bernard dog and a water wheel complete this group. A ladder leans against the right wall of the house, ready for "windowing". The young boys tried to sneak into their girlfriends room this way. The house shows the Bavarian color design with blue shutters and blue ribbons on the maypole. The white front of the house has a beautifully decorated gable and a wooden balcony. On the decorative balcony a group of children dances to music. At the same time the water wheel turns and the two beer drinkers raise their beer mugs in time.

The cuckoo opens the door at the hour, tweets and calls out the number of the hour with an echo. Afterwards one of the 12 alternating melodies are played. On the side you will find a switch to turn off the music separately, or both the cuckoo and the music. Through a light sensor the clock is automatically quiet after dark, although the clock keeps running. This clock is run by a quartz battery clockwork that uses three 1,5V batteries - Size C. The clock is delivered in an original box with complete instructions. The cuckoo clock is produced by the Black Forest company Engstler, a family-run business that has been well-known for generations both for its tradition and technical excellence.
