The wooden case of this lovely carved cuckoo clock is stained in walnut brown. On the upper carving piece, which is decorated with oak leaves, a bird has settled down and is watching the nest at the bottom of the clock, where the mother bird is breeding and is waiting for her eggs to hatch. Another eye-catcher on this clock are the two figures on the right and left side. The Black Forest girl with the "Bollenhut" is listening attentively to the guy with the accordion. At the full hour the cuckoo tweets and calls out the number of the hour with an echo. Afterwards one of the 12 alternating melodies plays. On the side you will find a switch to turn off the music separately, or both the cuckoo and the music. Through a light sensor the clock is automatically quiet after dark, although the clock keeps running.

This clock is run by a quartz battery clockwork that uses three 1,5V batteries - Size C. The clock is delivered in an original box with complete instructions. This cuckoo clock is crafted by the Trenkle company in Simonswald, a family business that has been around for the last 50 years, and prides itself in combining the traditional handcrafting with new technical developments.
