"Modern meets Tradition" on this Hunter Design Cuckoo Clock in red! The simple solid-wood casing is framed with handcarved maple leaves stained in red. The handcarved stag head with braun antlers in plastic is also stained in red. The cuckoo doors and cuckoo are also made of wood. The cuckoo opens the door at the hour, and tweets and calls out the number of the hour with an echo. On the side you will find a switch to turn off the cuckoo manually. Through a light sensor the clock is automatically quiet after dark, although the clock keeps running. This clock is run by a quartz battery clockwork that runs on two 1,5V batteries - Size C (delivered with clock).  The clock comes in an original box with complete instructions. This modern hunter design is produced by the Black Forest company Engstler, a family-run business that has been well-known for generations both for its tradition and technical excellence.
