"Modern meets Tradition" on this Hunter Design Cuckoo Clock in blue! The simple solid-wood casing is framed with handcarved maple leaves stained in blue. The handcarved stag head with silver antlers in plastic is also stained in blue. The cuckoo doors and the weights are also silver-colored and provide a beautiful contrast to the blue stain of the clock casing and carving. A special eyecatcher is the while clockface wqith black numerals and clockhands. The cuckoo opens the door at the hour, and tweets and calls out the number of the hour with an echo. On the side you will find a switch to turn off the cuckoo manually. Through a light sensor the clock is automatically quiet after dark, although the clock keeps running. This clock is run by a quartz battery clockwork that runs on two 1,5V batteries - Size C (delivered with clock).  The clock comes in an original box with complete instructions. This modern hunter design is produced by the Black Forest company Engstler, a family-run business that has been well-known for generations both for its tradition and technical excellence.
