A large number of deeply carved oak leaves entwine around the cuckoo clock which is hand carved. Between the leaves are two birds from the forest. Pround and full of energy is a deer with impressive atlers, on the top of the original Black Forest cuckoo clock. The clock is hand carved, and is limited produced. The carving is from lime wood and is carved and stained in a deep walnut colour.The hand carved and painted wooden cuckoo calls every full hour the time of day (e.g. at 3.00 p.m. 3 times)and at every half hour once. After the cuckoo call, plays each hour one of the two melodies and the folklore dance figures turn on the balcony. This model has a manuel switch off as well as a automatic night switch off between 9.00 p.m.- 8.00 a.m. Clockface, numbers and clockhands are also made from wood.The mechanical clockwork runs a week. The name of the master craftsman is Samuel Kammerer from Triberg-Nussbach.
