In the middle of the forest, surrounded by fir trees, stands this small cottage with hand-shingled hipped roof and mullioned windows with green heart shutters. In front of the house, a beer drinker sits with his dog Benno and lets the day start with an early morning pint. The cuckoo opens the door on the hour, chirps and calls out the number of hours with an echo. Then one of the 12 different melodies sounds. To the music, the landlord sitting on a tree trunk raises his glass and enjoys a beer. The water wheel is also in motion and dog Benno seems to trot dreamily around the house. On the side there is a switch to turn off the music separately or together with the cuckoo. Due to a light sensor, the sound is automatically off in the dark, but the time continues to run. This clock is powered by a quartz movement that requires three 1.5V size C batteries (included). This piece of coziness is made by Engstler, a family business that has been in business for generations and is synonymous with tradition and technology.
