This original Black Forest Cuckoo Clock depicts a Clockmaker's Worshop, situated in front of a house with shingled hip roof, dorm window, bell tower and chimney. The house is surrounded with pine trees and colorful flowers in the flower beds. The wood case is stained in walnut, and decorated with miniature windows with painted shutters. The solid-wood cuckoo calls the number of the hour on every full hour (e.g. 3:00 p.m. or 3:00 a.m. 3 times) and once on the half-hour. As the Cuckoo calls, the girl rings the bell using the rope.  After the Cuckoo calls on the hour, one of the two alternating melodies plays, and the Black Forest girl waves to the Clock Carrier, who is walking away with his umbrella. The Clockmaker also moves to the music and is concentrated on reparing the clocks. In the windows there are lights (require 2x 1,5 V Batteries in Size C - delivered with clock except in USA). The water wheel turns and the folklore dance figurines also turn to the music. The clockface, numbers and clockhands are all made of wood. This clock has an automatic night switch off. The mechanical clockwork runs for a whole week.
