This bird and leaves design in white stain is an elegant twist to a real classic among the Black Forest Cuckoo Clock family. The wooden case is stained in white with a beautifully carved frame of carved maple leaves. The cuckoo opens the door at the hour, tweets and calls out the number of the hour with an echo. Afterwards one of the 12 alternating melodies is played. On the side you will find a switch to turn off the music or the cuckoo and the music manually. Through a light sensor the clock is automatically quiet after dark, although the clock keeps running. This clock is run by a quartz battery clockwork that runs on three 1,5V batteries - Size C. The clock comes in an original box with complete instructions. This clock model is produced by the Black Forest company Engstler, a family-run business that has been well-known for generations both for its tradition and technical excellence.
