This simple, beautifully designed cuckoo clock is a modern interpretation of the classic cuckoo clock. It is handmade from 100% real wood. The stag and fir trees bring Black Forest flair and, like the cuckoo door, pendulum and weights, form a beautiful color contrast to the basic color of the square standing on top.
The cuckoo opens the door on the hour, chirps and calls out the number of hours with an echo. Then a melody plays On the side there is a switch. You can turn off the cuckoo call manually. A light sensor automatically turns off the sound in the dark, but the time continues to run. The clock face and hands are made of wood. This clock is powered by a battery operated quartz movement that requires three 1.5V size C batteries. The cuckoo clock comes in its original box with instructions.
