This cute Black Forest cottage features a couple in love. The young man in green traditional costume happily plays a serenade on his accordion. His fiancée Franzi wearing a Black Forest costume with a red-balled hat watches him enthusiastically. A deer as well as a rabbit and green fir trees frame this scene. The cottage has a facade of light wood with a red hipped roof and a very beautifully decorated gable. At the full hour the cuckoo tweets and calls out the number of the hour with an echo. Afterwards one of the 12 alternating melodies plays. On the side you will find a switch to turn off the music separately, or both the cuckoo and the music. Through a light sensor the clock is automatically quiet after dark, although the clock keeps running.

This clock is run by a quartz battery clockwork that uses three 1,5V batteries - Size C. The clock is delivered in an original box with complete instructions. This cuckoo clock is crafted by the Trenkle company in Simonswald, a family business that has been around for the last 50 years, and prides itself in combining the traditional handcrafting with new technical developments.
